After learning about the recent history of the town, we recommend that you definitely stay in prayer and reflection in a front of the miraculously preserved statue of Our Lady of Fatima in the parish church.

A touch of sacral tradition and Slavonian customs of the area is preserved in a little churches and chapels in the vicinity of Lipik. In Brezine visitor can find the wooden chapel of St. Andrew, which is one of the rarely preserved wooden chapels in Slavonia.

Apart from the mentioned two pearls, it is definitely worth stopping in the church of St. Catherine the martyr and virgin in Gaj. The interior of this parish church is dominated by the Baroque style, which is a real rarity in this area. Inside the church there is a picture of St. Anthony the Great with domestic animals, where from originates an unusual tradition. Namely, every year on the 17th of January, the feast of St. Anthony, after the mass celebration in front of the parish church, an auction of domestic animals is held. All funds raised are donated to the church, as a thanks to St. Anthony for the protection of domestic animals.
